The Coronado Dons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 75-41 defeat at the hands of Prescott. Coronado was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-21.
It was another big night for Uriah Tenette, who scored 35 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Prescott. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Tenette has scored at least a third of Prescott's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Gaul, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Coronado has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Prescott, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-3.
Coronado does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Prescott will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
