 The team  relied heavily on  Natalie Rood, who  went 3-for-4 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI.  Annabelle Hanson was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI.
 Proctor's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 17-4-1. As for Rush City, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record  this season.
 Proctor skirted past Rush City  3-1 in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Proctor since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
