Oak Hill dropped down to 4-3 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They and the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders were almost perfectly matched up, but the Raiders suffered a 29-28 loss. If the Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 29-14 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in September of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for John Bapst Memorial, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 42.6 points this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead John Bapst Memorial to victory, but perhaps none more so than Malcolm Butler, who rushed for 57 yards and three TDs, and also caught one score. Butler didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended two passes. John Bapst Memorial also got a significant boost from Evan Alley, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 98 yards.

Looking ahead, Oak Hill will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Lisbon at 1:00 p.m. The Greyhounds will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for John Bapst Memorial, they will venture away from home to challenge Hampden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will be up against the Broncos' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.43 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
