Colonial Christian has struggled against Pinecrest Glades Academy recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Keith Hernandez, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds for Pinecrest Glades Academy. Hernandez also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Ronnie Rivero was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Colonial Christian's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Pinecrest Glades Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colonial Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off.
