Valley has gone 3-0 against Armijo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Valley Vikings will host the Armijo Royals at 6:30 p.m. Valley's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Armijo's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Last Friday, Valley had just enough and edged Pleasant Grove out 2-1. Jeremy Castanon had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Vikings got from the refs.

Jovani Guillen was the driving force of Valley's attack as he scored both of Valley's goals, bringing his season total up to three goals.

Meanwhile, Armijo had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four back in December of 2024. They never let the Warriors onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. The Royals' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-1-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those six games. As for Armijo, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2-1.

Valley beat Armijo 2-0 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Will Valley repeat their success, or does Armijo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
