Volleyball Recap: Lakeside Wins Going Away Against Loganville + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Lakeside rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Loganville Red Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 26-24.

Allie Jost paced Lakeside's offense, picking up eight kills. Jost got some help from Avery Miller and her 14 assists. Shelby Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Despite the loss, Loganville still got an impressive performance from Katie Brand, who had 11 digs and one assist.

The win made it two in a row for Lakeside and bumps their season record up to 41-7. As for Loganville, their defeat ended a ten-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 29-20.

Lakeside has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Woodward Academy on the 18th. Loganville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
