Allison Smith put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in February on Friday. She struck out 17 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and 18 unearned) runs off 12 hits (and not a single walk). The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) she has had since back in April of 2024.
