The Prattville Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 13th straight loss. They were dealt a 72-36 defeat at the hands of Dothan. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Prattville in their matchups with Dothan: they've now lost six in a row.
Prattville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ty Bryant, who scored 13 points. That was a full 36.1% of Prattville's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Prattville dropped their record down to 3-23 with that loss, which was their 18th straight on the road. As for Dothan, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prattville will take on Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Enterprise presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Prattville in Alabama (Enterprise is ranked 14th, while Prattville is ranked 295th). As for Dothan, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Daleville at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
