Bluffton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Jay County Patriots 71-24. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Bluffton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Konley Ault, who went 8 of 16 en route to 18 points and three steals. The contest was Ault's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Isabella Stout was another key player, putting up 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Bluffton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Bluffton pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40.8 points. As for Jay County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Bluffton and Southern Wells will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Jay County, they will square off against Norwell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
