The Hagerty Huskies won the last time they faced the Seminole Seminoles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Hagerty walked away with a 53-40 win over Seminole. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hagerty.
Hagerty's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kylee Kitts led the charge by dropping a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. Kitts is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Ciara Hayes, who scored 20 points along with three steals.
Hagerty has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Seminole, they bumped their record down to 10-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Hagerty will be playing at home against Lake Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Mary knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Hagerty likes a good challenge. Seminole on the road again on Thursday and play against Lake Howell at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th. Lake Howell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while Seminole is ranked 124th).
