The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy has scored all season.
Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luke Sanders, who scored 17 points. The game was Sanders' fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffin Ridner richard, who scored 14 points.
Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as St. Xavier pulled down 11 offensive rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Xavier to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Weber, who scored 15 points. Weber continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jacob Wassler was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for St. Xavier, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy will take on Edgewood at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Edgewood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 598th, while Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy is ranked 127th). As for St. Xavier, they will head out on the road to face off against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
