After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Lafayette brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They put the hurt on the Vardaman Rams with a sharp 8-1 win on Thursday. Lafayette haven't had any issues with Vardaman recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Lafayette's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Vardaman, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Lafayette will be playing at home against Amory at 1:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Vardaman, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cleveland Central at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
