The Warsaw Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Goshen RedHawks at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Warsaw took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over Wawasee. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Rogan Bailey was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Logan Kim, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times he's played. Brody Heady also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Goshen was able to grind out a solid win over Northridge on Monday, taking the game 8-3.
Goshen also got a great performance from Ryen Diaz as he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.
Goshen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Warsaw's record is now 2-3. As for Goshen, their record now sits at 5-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Warsaw has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Goshen struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Warsaw was able to grind out a solid victory over Goshen when the teams last played back in May of 2025, winning 8-3. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the RedHawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
