The Shields Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the McKenzie Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Saturday, Shields came up short against Hillcrest and fell 42-29. Shields has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to McKenzie, who are still winless after their seventh match. Their rough 66-44 defeat to Red Level on Tuesday might stick with them for a while.
Shields has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for McKenzie, their defeat was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-7.
Shields beat McKenzie 60-48 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Will Shields repeat their success, or does McKenzie have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
