Fort Meade is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Glades Day get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Miners considering their one-run performance the match before.
Gracie Taylor looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February.

On the hitting side, Makayla Deleon and Marleigh Carroll did most of the damage at the plate: Deleon went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Carroll went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Deleon has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Nakaia Pinkston, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, Moore Haven made sure to put some runs up on the board against Marathon on Tuesday. The Terriers put the hurt on the Dolphins with a sharp 15-0 victory.
Brooklyn Sergent made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Sergent was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Moore Haven let Charisma Micco and JoEllen Erskin run wild. Micco went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double, while Erskin went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Khloe Desroche was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Fort Meade's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Moore Haven, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.
