Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Culver City

Villa Park came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against Culver City, but Myles Singleton wouldn't allow it. The Culver City Centaurs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 72-69 victory over the Villa Park Spartans on Saturday thanks in part to Singleton, who posted 26 points. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The win (which was Culver City's fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points per game. As for Villa Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

Culver City will finish 2024 at home by hosting Metairie Park Country Day at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
