Worth County has been on the road for two straight, but  on Monday they'll finally head home. They will face off against the Northeast Nodaway Blue Jays at 5:30  p.m. Both come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Tuesday, Worth County was able to grind out a solid  victory over King City, taking the game  7-2.
 Meanwhile,  it was close, but  on Thursday Northeast Nodaway sidestepped DeKalb for  a  4-3 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Blue Jays.
  Hadley Defreece spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up ten Ks. With that strong performance,  she is now averaging an impressive 5.2  innings per game.
 On the hitting side,  Baylie Busby was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  stolen bases,  and two  RBI. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen two or more in the last three games she's  played.
 Worth County pushed their record up to 9-7 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Northeast Nodaway, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record  this season.
