Having just played yesterday, the Westover Patriots will jump right back in to play the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday. Westover has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
 On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Westover beat Pelham 46-42. The  win was all the more spectacular given Westover's disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 237th, while Pelham is ranked 109th).
 Westover's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Jada Landers, who  dropped  a double-double on 12 points and 11  rebounds. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which  Landers has scored at least 25% of Westover's points. Another player making a difference was  Kaiya Conway, who  scored 13 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Central Fellowship Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap  on Wednesday as they fell  53-48 to Stratford Academy.
 Westover's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
