Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Carroll Chargers walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-43 victory over the Knights on Tuesday. This was payback for Carroll, who suffered a 46-42 loss the last time these two teams met.
Carroll's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaidyn Fuller, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Fuller hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Ava Myers, who scored 12 points.
Carroll has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-14 record this season. As for East Noble, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9.
Carroll has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Legends at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Fort Wayne North Side has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 20. East Noble does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
