Shakamak has been on the road for five straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the White River Valley Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Shakamak came up short against North Daviess and fell 47-38. Shakamak has not had much luck with North Daviess recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, White River Valley can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They put the hurt on Crothersville with a sharp 59-33 win. The victory was just what White River Valley needed coming off of a 52-24 loss in their prior contest.
Shakamak's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 7-7. As for White River Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.
Shakamak didn't have too much breathing room in their match against White River Valley in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 43-38 win. Will Shakamak repeat their success, or does White River Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
