Lake Center Christian has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Mogadore Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, Lake Center Christian came up short against Canton Central Catholic and fell 68-61. That's two games in a row now that Lake Center Christian has lost by exactly seven points.
Meanwhile, Mogadore entered their tilt with Southeast with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Mogadore breezed by Southeast at home to the tune of 77-47. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Mogadore has posted against Southeast since January 14, 2020.
Lake Center Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-4 record this season. As for Mogadore, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
Lake Center Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Mogadore when the teams last played back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 58-52 win.
