Volleyball Recap: Brownstown Central Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Brownstown Central had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bedford North Lawrence Stars.

Finley Wheeler had another great game (as she tends to do), getting seven aces and one block. Those seven aces gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Wischmeier, who had 11 kills, three digs, and two blocks.

Brownstown Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Bedford North Lawrence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Brownstown Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Jasper on the 30th. As for Bedford North Lawrence, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Columbus North on the 30th.
