The Grand Saline Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Prairiland Patriots at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Grand Saline and five for the Patriots.
Last Friday, Grand Saline was beaten by the Bulldogs 66-18. Grand Saline was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-7.
Meanwhile, Prairiland had to suffer through a rough 59-26 loss at the hands of the Mustangs. Prairiland has not had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Grand Saline has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-13 record this season. As for Prairiland, they dropped their record down to 13-18 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Grand Saline couldn't quite finish off the Patriots in their previous matchup back in January and fell 38-35. Can Grand Saline avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
