The Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 68-18 win over N.C. School for the Deaf on the road. With that win, Nebo Crossing Academy brought their scoring average up to 51 points per game.
Nebo Crossing Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Morgan Baker, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Baker is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner McKinney, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Nebo Crossing Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for N.C. School for the Deaf, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Nebo Crossing Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face The Master's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. After both having extra time off, N.C. School for the Deaf and Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 4:00 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
