The Upper Scioto Valley Rams suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2023 on Saturday. They were the victim of a tough 72-49 loss at the hands of Arlington. Upper Scioto Valley has not had much luck with Arlington recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Several Rams players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Layla Hunsicker, who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Hunsicker scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Lowery, who scored 13 points.
Upper Scioto Valley has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Arlington, the win got them back to even at 7-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Scioto Valley will take on Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Christian is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Arlington, they will head out on the road to square off against Riverdale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
