The Oak Hill Academy Raiders''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Lee Academy on the road and fell 60-14. Oak Hill Academy was down 46-7 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Darren Williams went supernova for Lee Academy, rushing for 237 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. Williams' longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards. Lee Academy also got a significant boost from Desi Monix, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 124 yards.
Oak Hill Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lee Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-4.
Oak Hill Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lee Academy will look to defend their home field on Friday against Wayne Academy at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Wayne Academy is ranked 218th, while Lee Academy is ranked 197th).
