The Barrington Fillies/Broncos put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Glenbrook South as Barrington made off with a 42-18 victory. The result was nothing new for Barrington, who have now won four matches by 24 points or more so far this season.
Dillon Fitzpatrick was his usual excellent self, rushing for 223 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per carry. Fitzpatrick is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Calvin Jackson was another key contributor, rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Another reason for the win was Barrington's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. Leading the way was Devan Van ness and his five sacks.
Barrington's victory was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. As for Glenbrook South, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Barrington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Glenbrook South also has no future games currently scheduled.
