Mo Hussein's Big Game Leads Deer Trail over Miami-Yoder
 Starting off the list is Deer Trail's  Mo Hussein, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hussein made 13 total tackles and defended three passes. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 Miami-Yoder had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw  Hussein it was a similar story. Hussein picked up  two  sacks and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss) the last time he and the Buffaloes duked it out  back in October of 2023.

Junior Diaz Crosses Big Stat Threshold
 Hanover picked up their fourth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Junior Diaz. Diaz showed up in a big way, rushing for 181 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. He's  now once again averaging 100+  rushing yards (110.2) per game. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards.
 If the past is any indication,  Diaz could be in store for another big game when he takes on Bethune on Saturday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time  Diaz saw the Bobcats), he rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also picked up 41 receiving yards and a touchdown.

David Byers Makes It Two for Hanover
 The second Hanover player making an appearance here is  David Byers, and for good reason. He rushed for -4 yards.
 If history really does repeat itself,  Byers might just drop another big game when he faces off against Bethune on Saturday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time  Byers saw the Bobcats), he rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards and a touchdown.

A Constellation of Stars for Hanover
 Another Hanover player making an appearance on this list is  JJ Aguilar. He threw for three yards.
 On the year,  Aguilar  has averaged 0.6 passing yards per game.
