The Lake Howell Silverhawks will head out on the road to challenge the University Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. University took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lake Howell, who comes in off a win.
Lake Howell headed into their last game having not scored more than two runs for four straight, but Windermere let them put that streak behind them. The Silverhawks put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 14-4 victory on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Silverhawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Riley Hodosko was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

In other batting news, Lake Howell got a massive performance out of Kayden Kerr, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those three RBI gave Kerr a new career-high. Ashlyn Ruscitti was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Lake Howell always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, University came up short against Lake Brantley on Friday and fell 6-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Titans in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost six in a row.
University saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Baylie Howard, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
University's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Lake Howell, their record is now 5-9.
Lake Howell was able to grind out a solid victory over University in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, winning 6-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Silverhawks since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
