The Perry Meridian Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 67-24 loss at the hands of Franklin Community. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Perry Meridian has scored all season.
Wyatt Nickleson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Franklin Community, scoring 17 points. Another player making a difference was Micah Davis, who scored ten points.
Perry Meridian's loss was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Franklin Community, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry Meridian is on the road again on Friday and plays Decatur Central at 7:30 p.m. on February 16th. As for Franklin Community, they will face off against Plainfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin Community has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 839 points over their last 12 games.
