The First Coast Buccaneers will venture away from home to challenge the Baldwin Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. First Coast is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
First Coast's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Ribault with a sharp 12-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.
Jake Rohn looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Shane Clayton was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. He is becoming a predictor of First Coast's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 5-1 (and 5-8 when he doesn't). Cam Allen was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
First Coast always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ribault only posted an OBP of .222.
Meanwhile, it may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Baldwin ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against Ridgeview by a score of 2-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game).
Chase Staley made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over 7.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Turner Farah, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. Maxwell Gallagher also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
The win got Baldwin back to even at 10-10. As for First Coast, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Everything went First Coast's way against Baldwin in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, as First Coast made off with a 12-2 victory. Will the Buccaneers repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
