Cooper Flagg is projected to be the top pick in the 2025 NBA Draft on Wednesday as the Dallas Mavericks have already signaled that they are selecting the 18-year old following a standout season at Duke University.
As a senior at Montverde, Queen earned second team MaxPreps
All-America honors after averaging 16.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0
assists per game while shooting 67.9 percent from the field. He earned co-MVP honors at the McDonald's
All-American Game after tallying 23 points, eight rebounds, five assists
and three steals.

McNeeley was a MaxPreps
All-America honorable mention selection as a senior after posting 12.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest
while connecting on 44 percent of his team-high 68 3-point field goals.
Newell put up 11.4 points and 6.1 rebounds per game on the loaded 2023-24 Montverde squad. He shot 67.6 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from 3-point range.
Flagg earned first team MaxPreps All-America honors after averaging 16.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.7 blocks per contest to help the Eagles finish the season with a 34-0 record.
After reclassifying from the Class of 2025 into the Class of 2024, Flagg ended up playing just three seasons at the prep level.
Flagg remains the only freshman to earn MaxPreps state player of the year honors after bursting onto the scene in 2021-22. He averaged 20.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 3.7 steals and 3.7 blocks to lead
Nokomis (Newport) to the Class A state championship.
As a freshman at Duke, Flagg led the Blue Devils to the Final Four and a 35-4 record. He earned National Player of the Year honors after piling up 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per contest while shooting 48.1 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from 3-point range and 84.0 percent from the free throw line.
