The Lake Houston HomeSchool Conquerors's road trip will continue as they head out to face The Covenant Preparatory School Knights at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
While it was all tied up 24-24 at halftime, Lake Houston HomeSchool was not quite Trinity's equal in the second half on Saturday. Lake Houston HomeSchool took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity.
Meanwhile, The Covenant Preparatory School unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 67-56 to Calvary Baptist. The Covenant Preparatory School has not had much luck with Calvary Baptist recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Lane Kisslinger, who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jay Reyes, who scored 15 points along with 7 steals.
Lake Houston HomeSchool now has a losing record at 3-4. As for The Covenant Preparatory School, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-1.
Everything came up roses for Lake Houston HomeSchool against The Covenant Preparatory School in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 79-27 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lake Houston HomeSchool since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
