Meanwhile, Dexter blew past George Stevens Academy, posting a 60-16 victory at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Dexter.
Penobscot Valley's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.82 points. As for Dexter, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Penobscot Valley came up short against Dexter in their previous meeting back in February, falling 34-27. Can Penobscot Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
