Basketball Game Preview: Atlanta Classical Academy Cavaliers vs. Bowdon Red Devils

The Atlanta Classical Academy Cavaliers will venture away from home to challenge the Bowdon Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Atlanta Classical Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Back in December of 2024, Atlanta Classical Academy blew past Cross Keys, posting a 49-19 victory. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 29 points or more this season.

Reece Perkins and Sally Berry were among the main playmakers for Atlanta Classical Academy as the former posted 18 points and the latter earned 17 points. Perkins' evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Anna Gray Hart, who put up six points.

Meanwhile, Bowdon ended up a good deal behind Greenville on Tuesday and lost 60-45. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atlanta Classical Academy pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.5 points per game. As for Bowdon, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Atlanta Classical Academy couldn't quite finish off Bowdon in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 and fell 34-31. Can Atlanta Classical Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
