Flandreau's Alex Bakkedahl recorded the longest rushing play in Big East this season in his game against Bon Homme last week. Bakkedahl ran for 70 yards on the play and finished with 70 on the day as his team bested the Cavaliers.
Flandreau extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Bon Homme, 55-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for Chad Stadem's team.
Sioux Valley's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Layne Lucas threw for 14 yards and Tyler Tofte had 10 yards receiving. On the ground Kyler Krogh chipped in 72 yards. Jake Larson helped Sioux Valley's passing attack out by catching one ball for four yards.
McCook Central/Montrose's Brandon Reif and Jacob Heumiller have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Reif has thrown for 428 yards this season, while Heumiller, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 15 catches for 185 yards. Jacob Patterson from the Fliers leads the league in rushing with 792 yards.
Garretson and Beresford played the most hotly contested game in Big East this week, with Garretson eventually emerging with a 26-20 victory.
