The Snow Hill Eagles waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with 11 straight wins but they left with 12. They took down Arcadia 73-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Arcadia lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zachary Giddins, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Ryheim Pettit, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Snow Hill pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Arcadia, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.
