The Milford Eagles typically have all the answers at home, but on Monday the Lebanon Warriors proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 48-38 victory over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lebanon.
Despite the defeat, Milford saw an underclassman step up: Gabby Chadwell scored 20 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. That's the first time this season that Chadwell pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Smith, who scored nine points.
Lebanon is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Milford, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.
Lebanon will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Little Miami at 6:30 p.m. Little Miami will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 318th, while Lebanon is ranked 45th). As for Milford, they will head out on the road to challenge Turpin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Turpin is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
