After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Loveland Classical, Twin Peaks Classical Academy was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They walked away with  a   52-44  win over the Weldon Valley Warriors. For the Timberwolves, this counts as revenge for the   62-59 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in February of 2024.

 Leading Twin Peaks Classical Academy to victory were  Matthew Wurth and  Jace Ross.  Wurth  dropped  a double-double with 11 points and 16  rebounds, while  Ross  posted 15  points and six  steals. Those six  steals gave  Ross a new career-high.  Zach Arndt was another key player,  putting up five  points.
 Despite the loss, Weldon Valley still got an impressive performance from   August Filter, who  dropped  a double-double with 20 points and 11  boards. That was a full 45.5% of Weldon Valley's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's   scored  more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Dane Johnston, who  put up seven  points along with ten  rebounds and three  steals.
Twin Peaks Classical Academy's record now sits at 12-8. As for Weldon Valley, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four games,  which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record  this season.
 Looking ahead, Twin Peaks Classical Academy will head out to  take on Rocky Mountain Lutheran  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Weldon Valley, they will be playing at home against Prairie  at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Prairie will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Weldon Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
