After only two runs in their last matchup, Slocum made sure to put some runs up on the board against Latexo on Friday. Everything went the Slocum Mustangs' way against the Latexo Tigers as the Slocum Mustangs made off with a 12-3 victory. The Mustangs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 3, 2024.
Cody Jordan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Jordan was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
