Troup is a perfect 8-0 against Tatum since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Troup will look to defend their home field against Tatum at 6:30 p.m. Troup will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Troup's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Brook Hill 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since March 1, 2024.

Not much got past Taylor Gillispie, who gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Brook Hill off the board. Gillispie has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Troup saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shiloh Sluder, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Sluder is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tatum). They blew past West Rusk 25-1 on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won six contests by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Camryn Milam, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasmyne Taylor, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Tatum always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .844. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Troup pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their 14th straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Tatum, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Troup hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .354. However, it's not like Tatum struggles in that department as they've averaged .323. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Troup beat Tatum 5-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will Troup repeat their success, or does Tatum has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
