Cyprus' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amelia Echternkamp led the charge by scoring 21 points along with four steals. Echternkamp hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Tamila Francis, who scored 14 points along with seven assists and five steals.
Cyprus is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Granger, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Cyprus will head out on the road to challenge West Jordan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Jordan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Cyprus likes a good challenge. As for Granger, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kearns at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
