 In other batting news, Ironwood got a  massive  performance out of  Ariana Norris, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.  Samantha Murray was another key contributor,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 On Kellis' side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Elia Marquez, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Ironwood's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Kellis, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record  this season.
 Ironwood didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  14-0  loss vs. Willow Canyon on the 16th. Kellis has also already played their next matchup,  a  19-0  victory against North Canyon on the 16th.
