The Hudson Hawks pushed their score all the way to 60 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 72-60 hit to the loss column at the hands of Burncoat. While losing is never fun, Hudson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Burncoat is ranked third).
Leading Burncoat to victory were Cheyton Marshall and Jean Carlos Pimental. Marshall scored 15 points, while Pimental scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pimental has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Dunn, who scored nine points.
Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Burncoat, the victory (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.
