Football Recap: Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

If Bridgeport wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Moses Lake Christian Academy/Covenant Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Johnny Ferguson. The Lions blew past the Mustangs, posting a 46-18 victory for which the team can thank Ferguson, who rushed for 169 yards and three TDs on only ten carries, and also threw for 139 yards and one touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Another signal caller making a difference was Aidan Dedios, who threw for 207 yards and three touchdowns.

The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.0 points on average over those games. As for Bridgeport, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
