Pawnee extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 18-12 in the process. They had just enough and edged out the Auburn Trojans 6-4. Six seems to be a good number for the Indians as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

As for Auburn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-12.

For Auburn's part, they saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Boylen, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double. Ryan Kessler also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pawnee will challenge Gillespie at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Miners have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season. As for Auburn, they will face off against Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
