Whitmore Lake has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Parkway Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Whitmore Lake will be strutting in after a win while Parkway Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Whitmore Lake didn't have too much trouble with Novi Christian Academy at home as they won 54-39.
Meanwhile, Parkway Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 58-46 to Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy.
Parkway Christian's loss came about despite a quality game from Julian Montano, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Montano has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathaniel Harrison-lizbinski, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Whitmore Lake's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Parkway Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.
Whitmore Lake might still be hurting after the 67-44 defeat they got from Parkway Christian in their previous matchup back in March of 2021. Can Whitmore Lake avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
