Caleb Bates posted a new career-low in earned runs on Tuesday. He did his part (and then some), not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched for the 'W'. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Bates and Escambia will stay at home for another game and welcome Tate at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
