The Pender Pendragons's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 68-27 victory over Homer on the road. With that win, Pender brought their scoring average up to 50.7 points per game.
Pender's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trevor Trimble, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Kneifl, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Pender pushed their record up to 17-5 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Homer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Pender didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-51 win vs. Winside on the 9th. Homer has also already played their next match, a 64-15 loss against Ponca on the 9th.
