Shoals Christian is 5-0 against Sheffield since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Shoals Christian Flame will head out on the road to face off against the Sheffield Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Shoals Christian will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Shoals Christian's game was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They secured a 46-41 W over Winfield. 46 seems to be a good number for Shoals Christian as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Sarah Davis (2025) continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 29 points and 15 rebounds. The game was her ninth in a row with at least ten points.
Meanwhile, Sheffield had to kick off their season on the road back in November, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over Covenant Christian.
Shoals Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Sheffield, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Everything came up roses for Shoals Christian against Sheffield in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 53-23 win. Will Shoals Christian repeat their success, or does Sheffield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
